Mobile phones and smart phones have a push message application that makes it possible for someone to subscribe to chat places such that if a message is sent to you via the free chat rooms you will receive it as an instant message. This means that you will be able to send and receive messages without the help of your network provider; all you will need is an internet connection on your phone and you are good to go.

Finding new talent is a challenge that all talent seekers face. The conventional method involved placing advertisements, sending replies to emails, hiring space for auditions, conducting them and selecting the right talent. It could happen that people don't even turn up to audition. The result? A lot of time and money spent on processes that may not offer a tangible and positive outcome. However, all this has changed with the birth of innovative talent networks that help agents and agencies find fresh new talent - easily, quickly and affordably!

Using an Interactive Online Talent Management Portal to Find New Talent

Novel interactive talent portals use the power of social networking for the talent industry. Agents and agencies that are looking for different types of talent - actors, singers, voice talent, songwriters, comedians, dancers, gymnasts, models, musicians, circus artistes, fashion designers, party entertainers, and more - can connect to the skill they want through these networks.

Both talent and agents can sign up with a talent management network. These networks offer new adult talent unique promotional tools. Once registered, fresh talent can create and upload an electronic portfolio with photographs, audios and videos. They can also rehearse and record demos to save in their portfolio. Member agents and agencies can inspect the portfolios, conduct contests and auditions, and connect with impressive new talent.

An interactive talent platform allows agents to:

• Find new talent by searching for talent by category, a specific criteria and/or location
• Create a company profile with promotional photos, audios and videos

• Post and schedule auditions and competitions
• View audio entries
• Conduct live auditions

Six Great Tips for Art Shoppers

Shopping for art can be a tiring experience especially as most buyers have little idea about the value of the piece. Most art-shoppers have experienced the difficulties now and then. And to help you have a more successful art-shopping experience, we list out the best tips to keep in mind when you next go shopping.

Tip ONE

Compare, compare, compare!

Comparison shopping is the best way to find out about the different kinds of art, the type you like and how much it costs. Also reading about various art forms can give you a better idea of what all is available. There are many ways of doing such window shopping, and one of the best ways to do so is in the online markets. Use popular search engines to look at the various kinds of art available and then you can shortlist what you like. Another good way of comparing art is by visiting local art galleries to see the different works that are available.

Tip TWO

Look at the Quality

The quality of an artwork is based on many parameters. However many critiques state that the uniqueness, beauty and balance of the art are important features. Check how special a particular artwork is as compared to other works, check whether it appeals to your eye and imagination and also see whether the colours blend in or not. Other aspects of quality that you must keep in mind are the quality of the medium, the paints or work and whether it will withstand normal conditions of humidity and temperature. Consider the quality of framing that has gone into keeping the artwork intact.

Tip THREE

The technique and skill of the portrait

Another important aspect to consider is the skill and techniques used by the artist. Most artworks have a heavy influence of some form of art, be it watercolour, oil paintings or pop art. Check out the technique used by the artist whose works you are planning to buy.

Tip FOUR

Look at the prices

Art need not always be expensive. So when you set off shopping, do keep enquiring the prices. If you find that a piece of art is priced too high, it may not necessarily mean that the art is valuable. Alternatively, if something is priced at a lower cost, it does not mean that the artwork is bad. So look at the prices when shopping.

Tip FIVE

Buy from the artists directly

Many people today try to shop for art from third party sites like eBay. However, opt to buy artworks directly from artists if you can. This way, you will not only get art for a good price, but you will also know the story behind the piece of work you have purchased. All benefits will go to the artist directly.

Tip SIX

Go with what you like

Ultimately, it is your personal taste and preferences that matter. If you find an abstract piece of art alluring go for it. If you want a personal portrait, opt for that. Take the advice of friends and well wishers but choose the piece of art that you love most. At the end of all of this, art has to be something you like, love and can cherish.

What Is The Difference Between LCD And LED Televisions?

Looking for a new television can be a confusing experience. With all of the latest TV technologies, it can be difficult choosing the best TV for you. Two types of televisions that people will often compare are the LCD TV and LED TV. The following is a brief guide on the difference between an LCD and LED television to help you make your television selection.

Technically speaking, LCD TVs and LED TVs are both LCD TVs. The screen on both types of TVs is a liquid crystal display. The LCD television is a flat-panel television. With a LCD display, there are 2 layers of polarized glass which are joined together. The liquid crystals are contained in one of the layers. The liquid crystals pass or block the light to display the television image. The crystals do not produce their own light. The light comes from fluorescent lamps that are located at the back of the screen. Arranged in a grid are millions of shutters that open and close to release light and capture light that is not needed to produce images. Each shutter is paired with a colored filter which produces a sub-pixel. The sub-pixels are so tiny that when they unite they produce a single pixel. It displays as a single speck of color on the screen. Along with the assistance of fluorescent lamps, the television images that we view are created. LCD television can be quite thin and create high quality images. These TVs take up less space and they can even be hung.

LED TV's also have a flat-screen and use Liquid Crystal Display technology. However their source of light is different. LED TV uses Light Emitting Diodes LED. There are two types of LED back-lighting - Edge lighting and Full-Array lighting. The Edge lighting utilizes a series of diodes are that are arranged along the exterior edges of the screen. The light is dispersed across the screen. Full-Array lighting involves a number of rows of diodes behind the entire surface of the screen allowing for more control over dimming and brightness as the diodes can be switched on and off.

If you are not familiar with the current TV technologies, it can be difficult understanding the choice between LCD and LED televisions. Although LED TV's and LCD TV's both use Liquid Crystal Display technology, the key difference is that the LED TV uses Light Emitting Diodes while the standard LCD TV uses fluorescent lamps. When it comes to LCD TVs, Edge-lit television sets are normally lighter and thinner than a Full Array because the lighting source takes up less space. Full-array television sets are thicker and heavier, but one section of the LED panel can be dimmed while other sections stay bright which improves blacks and contrast in the television image. Edge lighting television sets are the lightest and thinnest TVs on the market.

LED TVs are more expensive than LCD televisions. Each type of television has its own advantages and disadvantages. The choice will depend on your needs and television preference.

There are so many options for a high definition TV today: LCD TV, LED TV, 3D TV - the options can seem endless. Make sure to do ample research and ask around to find out what kind of HD television is right for you.

Why 13 Can Be Lucky For Aspiring Performers

Actors and many involved in the entertainment field can be a superstitions lot of people. There are customs and traditions in the field of theater that are based on suspicions. Did you know, it is bad luck to whistle in a dressing room? Never wish an actor good luck, but instead say "Break a leg." The origins of the "Break a leg" wish remains uncertain, but a prominent theory suggests that the thin curtains that mask the wings of the stage are referred to as "legs" and to enter from the wings, an actor must first "Break a leg."

The number 13 is widely considered as unlucky, with an associated phobia, specifically developed around it, labelled as Triskaidekaphobia. It is not legally required, but in public places, no floors are labelled with the number 13. The origin of the belief of 13 as being unlucky appears to have some Christian connotation, as there were 13 people at the Last Supper and Jesus was crucified on Friday 13th. Conversely, the number 13 can also be considered as lucky in some cultures:

Thirteen is the age at which boys achieve Bar Mitzvah in Judaism. It is also believed that God has 13 Attributes of Mercy.Sikhs believe that the number thirteen is special number because of the legend of Guru Nanak Dev.In Hinduism, memorial feasts are held for the peace of the departed soul, on the thirteenth day following a death. The seal of the United States contains 13  colonies on which the country was founded.

As an actor or anyone involved in the field of entertainment, the year 2013, should hold some significance, no matter, what your belief or superstitions are.  Movie Auditions 2013, will provide the aspiring actors, singers dancers or any type of performer to showcase their talents. The Challenge of Authenticity

It's trash day!

Time to sort through your head for beliefs that have been hanging around in there since you were itty bitty.

Time to figure out whether the beliefs rattling around in your head are really working well for you, and if they continue to guide you in making good decisions in your life.
Perhaps some s'plaining...and an example of what I'm talking about...

I've been a professional in my community for over 20 years, and have done my share of business networking, become visible, credible...profitable, and grow my business!

You know...by standing around in a room full of other professionals...trying not to look like a vulture...or inversely...trying not to look like a scared little bunny rabbit...and not get eaten by one of the vultures that surround you!

Several years ago a self-proclaimed networking "guru" told me in order to be successful in the business/professional world what I needed was a business suit and a good pair of heels!

So I tried that strategy for several years. I tried hard to believe I was someone other than who my gut told me I was, and all I can say is...
Balderdash!

The business strategy not only did not work well for me, but I never felt in any way authentic while I was practicing it, and it resulted in bi-lateral bunion and hammer-toe surgery to repair the damage done to my feet by the heels!

And there's the key!

Authenticity...

Authentic definition at Dictionary.com, a free online dictionary

... not false or copied; genuine; real

Bingo!

I am, in fact, a hippie from the sixties and my style is earthy, goddess, old crone...Babba Yaga...if you get my drift!

It is so, so, so important to stay true to who you are in how you live your life, and the decisions you make for yourself! And in order to do that, it's necessary to take stock of what you think about who you are and what fits for you so you can be authentically who you choose to be!

That requires being aware of the beliefs you habitually hold, weeding through them, and tossing out the ones that don't serve your needs and don't apply to you anymore!

What do you believe? Have you checked out lately what is roaming around upstairs in your thinking, an figured out whether what you think and believe is congruent with who you are?
Time to take out the trash!

Modeling Needs of Today

There are so many different forms of media and entertainment today and they can almost tell you how to live your life with how they advertise and market what they want you to do. Most companies know the influence of the media and they more often than not try to use the media to their advantage.

Everyone Needs Models

From TV, prints, commercial and billboards, brands will post their products on these forms of media so that you will easily spot what they have to offer. They are also able to make you want what they have to offer with the way they make their products more attractive and most of the time, it involves that use of a model.

Modeling is something that has grown so much lately the past few years because there are more and more people who look great on the camera. Even those who do not look that good at all but have the physical assets that are needed can learn how to become a model. Editing photos and adding special effects are some of the techniques that people can use today that were not available in the past..

Physical Traits

This is one reason why it is much easier to find models these days. Being a model is a tough task because most companies are looking for people who have certain physical traits that might be needed for their campaign. Blue jean companies might want someone with long and slim legs while an underwear brand might look for someone who has abs to attract more people with their ads. This does not mean that the average person cannot be a model because if you really want to learn how to become a model, there are many more opportunities awaiting you.

Model Types

Modeling is not just for TV commercials and runways. There's also print modeling where people's height will not matter and this will give a person who is much shorter but has the looks to be the model. Runway modeling is much harder because agencies are more strict about the physical gifts of the person.

Go That Extra Mile

You can always try to find the best parts of your body and send a portfolio of yourself and maybe you will be considered for brands that might be looking for what you have to offer. You can also learn how to become a model by practicing walking and posing, having more discipline and knowing how to act like a model if you plan to be doing runway modeling.

Murder Committed In Broad Daylight!

As the bus stopped, he walked angrily towards the back where Becky was seated. He was careful not to let the passengers suspect his motives.

This was the second time out of jail and he didn't want his mission to be interrupted. He looked around slowly, pulled his ratchet knife from his hip and mischievously carved a heart and a an arrow, on the back of the seat facing him. Not impressed with his sudden artistry, Becky stood up and begged Jason to let her go peacefully. Then after few wrestles, he held her by her neck passionately to claim her, cranked his knife and return it to his waist band. Beck was breathing breathlessly, gasping for every bit of air to make up for the lost moments of anxiety and fear.

"Jason, I tired of fighting with you and I want out of this miserable relationship!" Becky exclaimed.

"I got out because of you and I'm not letting you go this way," Jason said to Becky as he moved his feet to let her pass. 'Not without you answering my question woman!" he retorted. 'Why did you do that to me, why? Jason asked as he looked around to gain attention from the spectator in the bus.

"I'm sorry for filling charges on you for child support but I had to. I'm tired of living this life and I need to get married or move on. We have been living together too long and you are hardly at home,' Beck said as she walked towards the exit.

Jason raced towards her, dipped into his knapsack and took out a small box.'Here baby, that is what I wanted to give you for so long,' Jason said, with tears in his eyes.

Becky sat down on the bus step. Her heel and heart were broken and with her trembling hands, she opened the little black box that Jason gave her. 'Oh my God Murdy, you shouldn't have!' Becky shouted as passengers congregated around them. Their eyes gleaming as the dazzling diamonds on the engagement ring spun spectators stunningly.

"Will you marry me honey, please?" said Jason passionately.

There, in the middle of Kingston on a scorching Monday evening, Jason aka Murder, decided to quit his overseas job in the US to stay in Jamaica with his girlfriend. He was a hard-core bad boy with a soft heart, not a perfect father but now he has finally committed verbally to his mate after ten years. Both decided to marry and to take care of their kids together for good.

The Philosophy and Legacy of Confucius

Philosophy

Confucius lived in about 500BC. At that time Chinese religion consisted of numerous gods and spirits and veered towards mysticism and Taoism. There was no central religious authority and practice could vary widely between families and between regions. Confucius seems to have not adhered to Taoism - which believed in a natural and divine order of things - instead he placed huge importance on ritual; indeed he made his name and career was as a master of ritual. It is perhaps a reflection of this conservatism that he did not see himself as a creator of ideas but simply as a transmitter of ideas. Many of the ideas which he taught he had taken from his reading of the ancient Book of Songs.

The disorganised nature of the Analects makes it difficult to pull out a single narrative or theme from Confucius' philosophy, indeed he taught that people should study and think deeply for themselves and not rely on a single doctrine. However one of the themes running across the Analects is the importance of compassion and practicing concern for others. Within this framework the purpose of ritual is as a way of reconciling one's own desires with that of the family and the community as a whole. Respect for your parents and your elders is also crucial in achieving the vital goal of social harmony.

Confucius's teaching also touched on what might nowadays be referred to as the philosophy of management. He believed in the importance consulting the right experts and on judging someone by their actions. He also felt that you should be careful never to disregard someone's words simply because of their behaviour.

Confucius felt that he was living in a time where the political institutions had broken down. He disagreed with the prevailing legalistic approach of rules and laws as he felt that it simply meant people would bend and manipulate the laws simply to avoid punishment. Instead he championed rule by virtue; the theory being that if people are led by virtue then they will come to follow virtue themselves.

Legacy

Despite a lack of success in his own lifetime he ideas slowly gained ground and in about 100 BC Confucianism became the official state ideology. His teachings were not always rigorously applied but he has still had an enormous influence on Chinese history - perhaps more than any other single person. A dramatic demonstration of his influence and his theories about conservatism and ritual meant that Chinese language, dress and basic culture of remained virtually unchanged from 1st century BC right up to the 19th century. This astonishing continuity meant that China remained ultimately stable and peaceful but it perhaps came at a cost of development and innovation. Another example of his influences and also the unintended consequences of his ideas comes with the famous written examinations for civil positions. These examinations were designed to encourage meritocracy in government, however the examinations were limited to set texts and so did not encourage free thinking or free learning. The end result was a highly educated yet highly conservative ruling elite.

The only period in the last 2,000 years where Confucianism has not held sway in China was during the Cultural Revolution when it was decried as being too individualistic and too tied to ritual. However after the death of Mao it quickly returned to favour - Confucius World in Qufu remains a major tourist attraction today.

In the West he is perhaps best known for the 'Confucius He Say' series of jokes, such as 'Confucius He Say: Man who cut self while shaving, lose face'. It is a tribute of sorts that a man who lived in China 2,500 years ago is famous enough to have his style of speaking parodied today.

Peter Geer is a partner of Crazy Dragon Books http://crazydragonbooks.co.uk/ which specialises in books relating to all aspects of Chinese History and Culture. MLB And NBA Images Beyond Trading Cards

Trading cards used to be a passion of mine. Whether it was those NBA pictures or an indelible baseball image I could not get enough of those collectible cards. We would buy packs and packs until we got all of our favorite players. We would buy even more once we decided getting the whole set was key. Our parents, always patient with our hobbies, would take us to trading card shows and to many other places. They felt, after years of discovering that their trading cards (long since disposed of) would now be worth a pretty penny, that they were making investments in our future. The collectible market they thought was a great nest egg for their children.

But something changed in the 80's and then in the 90's in collector's culture. What once might have become a valuable collectible was now collected by everybody. Demand and prices inevitably fell, and we were all left wondering what was the point. Used to be kids collected trading cards to have NBA images, images of their heroes. In a way the collectible culture had washed away much of the fun in having a pocket sized MLB photo in a fog of value speculation. It was not the youthful enjoyment of sports motivating any more it was the monetary pull of big business sports and everyone was going to enjoy a piece of it.

Since then I have tried to move my collectible interests in other directions that felt more special and did not have the hyper speculative stamp of a money making scheme attached. I began buying glossies of my favorite athletes. A great baseball image that could simply be framed and hung above my bar had a lot more value to me than a pile of trading cards filed away in an attic.

Lately I've gotten into some three-dimensional sports photos that I found on the internet. They combine great baseball and NBA images with eye popping graphics that are really great for around the house, especially in the kid's rooms. I was immediately immersed in the close up action of these shots which give the illusion of moving when you move. These are "collector's items" in a sense of course and I value them very much. But with these there is no distracting monetary prospecting. There is just sports and my sense of being a fan of them. What could possibly be worth more than that?

The Athletes in 3D blog and sale site is one stop shopping for decorative 3D MLB images, NBA Images and NASCAR images.

Tips On How To Get Into Modeling

Modeling is one of the "hottest" careers that a lot of people yearn to pursue. However, over-expectations and lack of knowledge on how to get into modeling leads to destroyed lives and disappointment. This is why It is so important to first know what to expect realistically, have clear set goals, and have the right attitude as you seek a role or a career in this industry.

Types of Modeling
To begin with, you need to decide what type of modeling you want to get into. This helps you to decide on your entry point, as well as helping you to choose the right agency. The different types of modeling are fashion, glamour, fitness, bikini, fine art, and alternative.

Arrange Photo Shoot
The pictures should be simple with good lighting. They do not necessarily have to be taken by a professional photographer. When taking these pictures, ensure minimal to no makeup. Keep your face clear of facial hair, and keep your hair neat and clean. Take photos of you smiling and others not smiling. Since most agencies do not return these photos, make and keep copies for yourself.

Prepare a resume.
This does not mean a resume listing your previous experiences modeling. It simply means creating a portfolio to present to the agencies, showing them your competencies, modeling experience (if any), hobbies, interests, and mainly, your vital statistics. These include height, weight, waist size, and bust size. However, you can limit the details you include here to just weight and height.

Agency Requirements for Models
There are different requirements to get in to the different types of modeling. A model should be near perfect. That's why there are those different types of modeling. These requirements are primarily determined by the clients who use the models. For instance, some advertisers may want an old male for their billboard advertisement. This means that the model of choice should have all the "old-age" properties and characteristics. It is therefore important for you to find out what the specific requirements for your choice type of modeling are.

Find Modeling Agency
For an effective modeling career, you need to work with an agency. These agencies help you to secure jobs easier. The good thing is that, since they are paid commissions for any job they get you, you do not pay them upfront. Any agency that asks for an upfront payment before getting you a job is a scam. Avoid them like the plague.

Enroll in Classes
To increase your value as a model, it is wise to take some modeling classes. On top of helping you to secure more jobs, this helps you gain more confidence as a model. You also get better prepared to circumvent most of the pitfalls that most models get in to, including negative attitude and lack of set goals. These are some of the basic tips on how to get into modeling effectively. Research online to learn more about this type of career.

Update Your Wardrobe With Vintage Clothes From the Past

Purchasing clothing at a department store can be ideal for acquiring the basics, but it may leave your wardrobe looking a little bland. There's no need to buy outrageously priced designer pieces to spice things up. To truly add character to your wardrobe, consider unique vintage clothes and accessories. Adding vintage items to your everyday ensembles can be an inexpensive way to add flair and update your style. This can be accomplished with a few simple changes.

Thrift stores and consignment shops are a goldmine for finding one-of-a-kind wardrobe essentials. Surfing the Internet can also be a way to score some truly beautiful finds. Keep an open mind and shop frequently, as vintage stores can be hit-or-miss. You can even expand your horizons by trying flea markets and estate sales. Try on anything that catches your eye. Many items are brimming with hidden potential. Keep in mind that alterations are fairly inexpensive, so if you find something you love don't pass it over just because it could use a few tweaks.

Always be on the lookout for lace. Lace is eternally stylish. The intricate designs can quickly add a splash of romance to your style. Classic lace dresses are a wardrobe must. However, lace tops, skirts, and even accessories can be just as appealing. When rocking vintage clothes, try to go for one vintage garment to act as your outfit's centrepiece. Add a modern twist with belts, fashionable shoes, a blazer, or anything else that complements the look. Remember to keep accessories minimal when wearing a style such as a lace dress. Let the dress speak for itself.

Velvet is another vintage staple. Velvet blazers, shoes, bags, tops, and even dresses are funky, yet chic. Velvet adds texture and warmth making it perfect for cool weather. If velvet isn't your thing, consider floral pieces. Floral patterns are huge this season and vintage floral patterns are much more unique. Think classic movies and search for floral shift dresses, dresses with full skirts, handbags, tops, skirts, and tunics. Floral patterns call for subdued accessories and shoes in a single colour since they are bold and eye-catching. For a truly classic look pair a floral dress with a 1960s frame bag.

When it comes to vintage clothes, always look for unusual, unique items. Dressing up an outfit with bold, big jewellery or embellishments, such as vintage broaches or headbands, is a fun, quirky way to show off your individuality. Box bags and other classic handbag designs can completely change an ensemble. Accessories are a great way to dip your toe into the world of vintage clothing.

Shopping for vintage clothes takes patience, as you may have to search through racks of items to find that one piece that speaks to you. Yet, infusing your wardrobe with a vintage feel is worth the digging. Vintage clothes and accessories are full of history and character, making you stand out from the crowd.

You can find a wide range of vintage clothes from several independent boutiques at ASOS Marketplace

Is Bucky Back?

(This article contains spoilers)

After all the speculating and complaining, we finally have an answer. In the brand new pages of Fear Itself 7.1, Marvel revealed a brand new ongoing series, written by Ed Brubaker and drawn by Butch Guice: The Winter Soldier.

When we last saw Bucky Barnes he had supposedly met his demise at the hands of the new Red Skull, Sin. It wasn't a fitting conclusion to say the least, to a character that had become incredibly popular with fans. Readers were sceptical, how could Brubaker let this happen? Bucky Barnes, one of the coolest comic book characters of this generation, a character who had become incredibly popular as Captain America had been given a pointless death, for shock value in the summer's comic book event Fear Itself. Thankfully, Brubaker had a plan, and I for one can't wait.

In the new Fear Itself 7.1 issue we learn that Bucky did indeed survive. After suffering an attack from Sin, Bucky's body was switched with a lifeless L.M.D (Life-Model-Decoy) while he recovered in secret. This led to the world believing Bucky had died, allowing him to now work in secret. To say the least, Steve wasn't pleased when finding out Nick Fury and Black Widow had manipulated his emotions to get him to wear the shield again. It was a great emotional payoff for readers who were left stumbled as to why Steve had barely reacted to his former partners death during Fear Itself.

As for the new Winter Soldier series starting in January I can't wait. It will be great to see Bucky back in a more black-ops role, and the series is sure to be dramatic with Barnes feeling responsible for training the sleeper agents during his time as the Winter Soldier. I'm sure we'll see some fallout from everyone else being in the dark over Bucky's survival at some point in the future. Add this secret to Steve Rogers's resume, along with his recent role in hiding the Infinity Gems, Rogers is going to have some questions to answer at some point.

I'm thrilled with Brubaker's decision on this one. He has kept this a well kept secret for months, but now Bucky's story is set to enter a new stage. With all the criticism aimed at the comic book industry for too many pointless character deaths, it's very gratifying to know one of my favourite characters has managed to avoid the chop.

Sense or Nonsense (A Set of Poems)

(A Set of poems)

Sense or Nonsense

Ten New Poems of: Sense or Nonsense

Introduction:

Sense or Nonsense

Making sense is the other side of making nonsense "What is what?" that is the question. (Moreover, who knows?) My advice to the reader of these poems is not to be too quick to label them either way, unless you can understand both sides of the coin without any preconceived notions...

How to Read a Poem

(If indeed, you care)

Now for a few principles: Read these poems attentively; read them several times slowly, and with an open mind. Gather interesting data, mark certain words, images, or lines you find interesting or suggestive with a pencil. Evaluate the big picture (zero in on the basic outline, the poem's meaning or purpose). It might be interesting to note, usually the imagery of the poem echoes the poem's theme, if indeed you miss the theme, look for the imagery, and the echo towards it.

By the Time

(Poem One)

By the time, you start thinking what have I to do. By the time, the children are old enough to drink booze. By the time, the naked old eye can no longer see the summer clouds. By the time the grapes in the cellar ferments to a rich elderly fine wine. By the time everything grows and dies around you...by this time, it is time you start to think about the dirt and the bugs in the ground, and if you are, heaven bound-!

The Old Trout

(Poem Two)

When I was full of life, the sun was full of sun, now I am old, getting older and I am full of dying near as much as the moon is full of no air...

I am like the tides of the ocean, once about a time I came in on one, I watched them from a distance come and go; now it's my time to ride them out I hope slow!

Yesterday's Rain

(Poem Three)

Yesterday, the rain was full of rain, a little gray, a little insane, which in a way was very pleasant, at 7:00 p.m.; and this is what the rain said:

"What is there to show if I do not rain all over the city and you?" Then the rain added, "I cover all around the sun, cover it up, and during this, you can sleep, otherwise get wet."

That was yesterday, it is different today. The rain is sleeping, thank God for that; now we get the sun back!

Alone in Paris

(Poem Four)

I traveled around the world, mostly alone for most of my life, and I never felt alone, although to others I am sure I looked alone, and I was alone, but was I lonesome (Feeling lost)? Never until I was alone in Paris for my first time, then I knew and felt alone, on my own, because now I was alone, and felt lonesome. I even swore never to return to Paris, unaccompanied, alone!

Then I left Paris, alone the same way I had come, feeling less lonesome-even though now I knew I still was alone even though people were all around me... and felt alone, but now being alone was okay...it was Paris!

Note: We become aware of things-once we climb the tree, and look down or perhaps above the trees and around.... On a second note, a tree to a tree is just another tree, put a hill or mountain beside it; it will love you evermore, because it is different. In addition, perhaps appreciation is what it is all about...

Learning

(Poem Five)

He would and he was-meaning, he did not and he tried. Nevertheless, he never would and he never did. Kids are like that you know, and yes, I know one, two, three, perhaps six, no, eight, no, ten (perhaps even more, but let us say ten... or more for the sake of argument).

Ten or more kids and no one learned a thing-sad but a fact. Nowadays, this would be considered the ordinary, for kids; that is to say, trying to learn more, or expecting to learn more, with a third of their capacity, effort, actions; everyday doing less, expecting to learn more.

The first kid that tried this-this new universal track of learning, he was the one that needed to learn the most. However, would he learn? Alternatively, was he learning? Who is to say? He thought tears would make him learn, but he was just the same-still the same inside..., which is not the same as learning.

The Have, Had, Halves

(Poem Six)

I had, and I have, and I have to keep the half now of what I have-call it halve-when all is said and done what will I have had to do to keep that half? In addition, get back what I had, had I not thought about this, I would not have had to write this, and I could have slept a while longer.

Denny and Diane

(Poem Seven)

Denny and Diane, Diane and Denny, both liked each other immortally. He said he loved her more than she loved him. She said '...nonsense! I love you more than you love me!'

He combed her hair, he shared his pear, he washed her feet, he never let go of her, even to sleep, and that was why Denny was Diane.

Diane walked by his side-side to side, like to like, like two peas in a pod. Why, nobody knew, but take my word, it is true, they did everything from there to there, not a hair's breath away and that was why Diane was Denny.

So was it Denny or was it Diane or was Denny just Diane? Then again, was Diane just Denny? It is better to leave this alone, the more you think of this the more you wonder, and let's say Denny is just Diane and Diane is just Denny and they both are through being the other.

Ballad of the Big

andLittle Pigs

(Poem Eight)

Abig pig running low

in the fields of snow

watching little pigs sitting by

learning that soon they could die.

It was in the fields and it was daylight,

and cows mooed,

and the little pigs could have care less.

The Big pig saw everything, everywhere

in the valley...

And the little pigs knew this, knew

the Big Pig, He could see right down

and throughout the fields-

and even see the other animals hidden

elsewhere...here and there.

Therefore, the cows and all the other

animals did not dare

to hurt the little pigs...

Seeing the big watching and staring

here and there, always aware.

And so, as you may have guessed

and as you may have read

when a big pig running low

loose in a field of snow

the little pigs know they will not

be captured, or hunted, or even

eaten alive, or have to die,

that they too, have time

to grow old...

(as long as the big pig is watching

that is...)

And so they know, and knew.

and yes, to be true

they wondered also:

"What's all the bother about?"

Then appeared a man

and he hit the big pig on the head

with a big iron hammer!

Hoping he would have killed him,

but he hadn't and the big pig

tried to get away

but there was no way.

The little pigs watching all this-said:

"If he gets away, we're safe today!"

But quickly, the big pig sunk

lower to the ground,

and the little pigs frowned

and they began to know

the big pig would soon be gone

dead, no longer their safety net.

What is more, all the little pigs started to runaway to tell the other little and big pigs in the valley of the danger. But the big pigs had learned what the little pigs were learning; there was no way to fight man, to protect them from him, but to run, run if indeed one can... and this is life, and when man comes around, it happens just like that.

Do we need?

(Poem Nine)

We need what we need which is air. You know it is more than a habit, to do a thing we call 'breath' and it only works one way, no matter what anyone may say. You do it in public; you will do it in private. You do it, whether you like or do not like to do it. Unbelievably, it is true: we all need what one another needs, which is blue looking air, from the atmosphere. Even if the wind blows it away, it stays. Thank God!

Note on the Poems: During the afternoon, of October 6, of 2009, the author sat down in his sofa chair, high up in the Andes of Peru and the poems you just read are the poems he wrote that afternoon; poems 1 thru 7 are poems 2637 through 2645. On October 13, in the morning the author wrote "The Ballad of the Big and Little Pigs" poem, 8 of this sequence, or 2645 in sum total; in addition, poem 9 "Do we need?" Written on the October 13, number 2646. Revised and reedited, 10-24-2011.

"A Wild Piece of Paper!"

((A Poetic Tale for the classroom) (1955, St. Paul, Minnesota))

(Poem Ten)

"What is a wild piece of paper?" asked one of the second graders in the classroom, at Ecole St. Louis, Catholic Elementary School, to a visiting professor... "And how wild can it get?"

"You see," said the professor, "a wild piece of paper is different from a tranquil one, and it is even more different than one with blots, or dots, or spots on it.

"A wild pieced of paper floats, like a boat-once in the air. That is what a wild piece of paper is.

"A wild piece of paper-is although, just that, a piece of paper, yet it can get wilder and wilder...and when it does get wilder, and wilder it gets, it says:

'Try and catch me-if you can!'

"A wild piece of paper will do most anything, and I mean anything-it will float, it will fly, if given the chance. It will even rip its way around and about furniture, or buildings and even a house-just to play, and to have its own way.

"You may have to learn the hard way, that a wild piece of paper is like, or can be like, a wild bat, wilder than a rat, nobody really knows, how wild a wild piece of paper can be, or get.

"That is why, when you put a piece of paper down to write on-make sure it is solid and unsoiled, always be bold, sit up right, hold the paper down-tight; for a child to have a wild piece of paper can be just awful.

Written at the Mia Mamma, Cafe, in Huancayo, Peru, after lunch, in the garden cafe area; October 13, 2009. Poem: 13/or 2647, reedited October 24, 2011.

Adventures with Bugs

I've enjoy my adventures

even Havana, Cuba, with those big

hotel cockroaches and those

buzzing flies that seem so

interesting in laying everywhere.

Spiders I did not see many of

them, in Cuba-2002. They mostly

corner me when I'm at my apartment

in El Tambo, Huancayo, Peru.

Luxemburg's Flight of Stairs

(-Luxemburg, Luxemburg, October, 1976)

This morning after breakfast

we climbed that steep flight of Luxemburg's

stairs, that overlooks the roofs of

the city-Luxemburg...

Annoying, but somehow charming,

and my twin boys (four-years old)

welcomed the rest at the top.

As we walked back down they

looked disappointed,

almost snarled...

as if to say,

"Now what was this all about?"

Remembering Hydra

(-Greece, 1995)

The sky is startling sunny-

Down a narrow cobblestone street

a gate opens to a courtyard

recess is over for the jumping

and dancing children-of Hydra,

getting their last shouts out,

with delight.

The harbor is astonishing,

uncluttered.

I wish I could stay, watch the

dawn over the Mediterranean rise,

but the ship won't wait!...

James Wright (the Poet)

James Wright talked too much

about sorrow and sadness-

in his poetry, wish someone would

have told him to shut up!

James is dead, mewling, I suppose!

James is muck, in the ground, too.

One dead poet, out of gravity,

and out of sound and orbit.

He died alone, no one died with

him (in 1980). I try, and try to read

his poetry, and all I get is misery. It

seems he was never happy!

Donald Hall (the Poet)

Donald Hall, poet, lost his

wife to cancer (eons ago)

and found his living grave early!

Rains falls straight down on

his forehead-like

granite...I love this poet,

too late to be damned.

Death beneath his right foot-

his toes pointing towards

his gravestone.

We talked, nearly holding hands-

Coiled with grief,

both looking for our loved ones-

now buried in their graves.

The Lion and the Penguin

(Perhaps a tinge on the theoretical side of life)

The lion, will stay with its

cubs, from the day of birth to

her death!

The penguin, will stay with the

egg until it hatches into life

outside the casing, and thereafter

a limited time of learning, on

how to survive

on its own...

Then she'll leave her offspring

forevermore, in the

Antarctic cold...

And they may never meet again.

Who loves more?

the lion or the penguin...

My guess is they love

equally-

It's an environmental dilemma

for the penguin;

as it is not for the lion.

On the other hand-

the penguin is more willing to

take in an orphan,

than a lion...

Why?

My guess again is- dominance!

The lion must first

be sure-his position is secure...

forevermore!

The Penguin has no such

impending interests

thus, no such dilemma.

No: 3185 (11-6-2011)

Note: are we so sure of love, perhaps the person who cannot reach you loves you more than the person that has; perhaps that person by stepping back is more of an act of Love than that of the person that has stepped forward...; those who have within their reach the very thing they love, may not love as much as the person who has to let go-which in itself is an act of love or can be, and hope all will be well, with that loved one, while among the kingdoms of the earth.

A Mile High Lie

(-an admission)

I was like a piece of dust

under my bed-

My mother sat in a chair

in the adjoining room

(I must have been at least

eight or nine)

She was like a whale

a mile high-, said:

"You have a licking coming

for lying!"

And I knew she'd

wait until winter,

(in that chair)

It was now, mid-summer!

So I crawled out to

accept my punishment.

I figured, why wait it out

I was getting hungry...

No: 3187 (11-7-2011)

Tears of a Mother

(1962, St. Paul, Minnesota)

It is the sinking of the heart

to see your mother cry,

tears in her eyes-

my eyelids fell.

Her sad bones descended, nearly collapsed

like falling hard rocks-

when she heard me tell the judge

"Send me to boy's town

I want to be with

my brother...!"

No: 3179 (11-4-2011)

Above the Plane

(-a window opens)

Ilike living, thinking

I don't want to be a creature

on the moon-with no heaven or hell:

living on the dark-side.

I don't want to be

the lion beast, here on earth-

that lives by instinct alone;

or the atheist that can't feel

right or wrong, has no God,

nowhere to go beyond the grave.

(But I don't want to be deceived!)

I want to know, I really do.

How did I appear, where

I am now?

(I don't want to be left in the clouds.)

Am I no more than a thinking

grasshopper-,

from dust to dust-

after death a woodcut?

What window can I look through?

...out of, or above?

to see what is truth, real!

How different these bodies

are from our insides...

Understanding begins to throw

itself around

(as the brain thaws)

as belief and unbelief

become uneven...

Hence, a window opens!

Philosophical Poetry

The Singing Waters of Nahuinpuquio

(or, Legend of the Little Goat with Seven Horns)

During the time of a full moon, the lake called Nahuinpuquio

(in the Mantaro Valley, high in Andes of Peru)

draws in its shadows

and waits on the village people for an offering.

If the offering

is not given or pleasing,

the feminine and invidious shadows

rising high up into the resonating night

blocking out even the moon's light: waits...

waits, just waits...

(as if wounded)!

Thereafter, the small islands stand about in a group

(within the center of the lake).

Each to its own thin opinions and darkness;

each, trying to agree upon what bleak

what final punishment

might be given

to the populace of Nahuinpuquio.

The female islands chant out far

on the water, grounded in the wings

of their shadows,

then, more often than not, they blacken

the sky,

with roaring thunder (distinct)-

hail and strong winds!

For they seek a male offering, complete!

Once the lake is satisfied, the dark comes down

slowly-and on June 23rd

at full moon, the lake sings

as her voice hits the water from its shadow wings;

hence, a golden goat with seven horns, ascends

as if fromunder the water's hidden door -

andappears for all to see!

Cada una con su propia opinion insignificante de malicia;

House of the Falcon

((The Chanka inthe Valley of Canipaco) (Colca, Peru))

Part One

House of the Falcon

Even the finest of the Chanka warriors, contained darkness

All their language, woven from fifteen hundred years packed

Together-as they grew larger in the Valley of Canipaco

The Hanan Chankas soaked up the stain of their enemy's blood

Drank it from their skull caps, hanging them upside down

These old thinkers, of the House of the Falcon, remind us

Battleand death to those throats open to invasion.

They built stone fortresses in the District of Colca-buried

Their kind, in caves, rock crevasses, mausoleums.

Part Two

Uscovilca and Ancovilca

CanipacoValley

The twin gods of the Chanka race, the founders, Uscovilca

And Ancovilca-: one inherited the teeth

Of the great lion, the other, the great thumbs of Goliath

And thereafter, the Chanka race never had had a whole

Day of peace, and thus built, Tamborhuanca (sanctuary)

Where one cry from the dying, contained a thousand more.

Part Three

House of Sorrows

Tamborhuanca-Colca

In time all things end, become shadows, hence, the

"House of the Falcon" became the "House of Sorrows"

The door that leads to Tamborhuanca, near Colca

Built eight-hundred years, now in the past-the sanctuary

Of the Chanka, now lies silent, with deadly gases...

A house roofed with stone and earth, caves and graves.

It's too late to move now; their bones (blunt like dull pencil lead)

Can be found in the dark crevasses of this fortress like

Mound-this monstrous sanctuary, with cave-eyes everywhere!

The Noisy Corner

(of El Tambo; Huancayo, Peru)

Rain has fallen on rain (it is 7:00 p.m.)

I hear tires clatter over wet payment

see people across the street

clustered around a vender's outside

cafe table...as they chitchat.

The pancake and yucawomen, both

put a blue cover over their eatery-

I hear a mass of other weaving and

mixed sounds... (loud music from

the tiny grocery store, drunks at a table

drinking beer-next door) as clear as

raindrops on my apartment windows.

That is how it is in the rainy season,

on the corner streets, of Cultural Avenue

and Manuel Scorsa... in El Tambo, after sundown.

Why Are the Popular Superheroes All 50 Years Old?

Why is is that the major superhero characters in comics are all so old. I don't mean the characters themselves but rather the creations. Superman for example was created in 1932. Spider-Man in 1962. Batman in 1939. Green Lantern in 1940 and the X-Men in 1963. With the recent reboot of the DC universe I was expecting maybe to see some brand new characters. To my knowledge there haven't been. Isn't that a bit odd?

So why are we not being treated to new comics characters all of the time? Well actually, we are. They just don't gain the popularity of classic characters or they end up being added in to current comics. Let's take a look at Batman. Over the years since his introduction we have had loads of new good guy and villain characters introduced. There's Nightwing (formerly Robin), Azrael, Catwoman, Joker, Scarecrow, Riddler, Batgirl and the Huntress to name a few. These characters will often get their own comic titles so we do get new comics that way. For another example look at the X-Men comics. There has been tons of new characters over the years. Here's a quick list off the top of my head. Blink, X-23, Phantomex, Beak, Deadpool, Danger, That doctor guy who wears a white hat.

There are some brand new characters that pop up but they just don't seem to catch the imagination as much as the classics. Over the last twenty years there has been Spawn, Witchblade and Wanted to name a few. These have been quite successful and have translated into movies and TV but the lay person on the street could probably not recognise the Witchblade.

So what are the reasons for the lack of new characters. Is it down to comic fans not wanting to try new things? Very maybe. Comics aren't cheap. You can't just try out 2 new comics while buying a few regular favourites without spending ?10 to ?20. I think that's a shame. If comics were more affordable I for one would buy a lot more of them and probably try out more new titles.

Or is the problem that all of the good characters have been done? I don't think so. Certainly when it comes to naming superheroes after animals that ship may have sailed. Although I think familiarity with old characters means we think them less silly than they are. For example. Spider-Man, Batman, Birdman, Sharkman. Why is it that the first two sound cool and the second two sound pretty stupid? Would Birdman and Sharkman have been the cooler sounding choices if they had come first?

I think the reason for the lack of new guys on the block is to do with the state of the comics industry as a whole. With less people buying comics publishers don't want to take risks and instead concentrate on their performers like Wolverine and Superman.

Tips For A Wannabe Artist

There are many people with art talent who have never pursued their dream or interest. Why? Perhaps, it is the fear of rejection; or they feel it is not profitable enough; or they don't think they have the time; or they don't know how to get started; or a number of other reasons and excuses. Therefore, if they do nothing, they will forever remain what they are: wannabe artists.

The good news is that it is never too late to begin. Do you remember Grandma Moses? She didn't get started with her artwork until she was over seventy. Over the next three decades, she painted hundreds of works of art. She painted until she was a hundred and one years old.

For the wannabe artist, there are several roads to travel to reach their destination. First, however, they need to decide what they wish their destination to be. Second, they need to be motivated and determined. Third they need to do their research, because no matter how much natural talent one possesses, there has to be some education that goes with art. It doesn't have to be formal, but it needs to be thorough and intensive. They need to master techniques, decide which style they want to use (or create a style of their own), and become proficient in the medium or mediums with which they wish to work.

If someone determines to be a great artist and famous someday, then this is a lofty goal and should not be discouraged. If they wish only to be respected as a local artist in their community, this also is a lofty goal, and it, too, should not be discouraged. The magic word here is goal. Setting and achieving goals requires determination and understanding.

An artist will not be successful at their goals without being and remaining motivated. This not only includes mastering their style, technique, and use of their selected medium, but how to promote, show, and sell their works of art. However, being motivated is one thing, but remaining motivated is another. It takes time, planning, and work, and therein is the problem. An artist needs to ask themselves daily: "How bad do I want it?" It is easy to become discouraged but, when this happens, pick up the brush, dip it into the paint, and slap it onto the canvas. A new inspiration will immediately arise; a new passion will begin; and a new determination will be confirmed.

Here are some tips for the wannabe artists:

You should always be a student and take lessons from as many different instructors as possible. Even if the lessons aren't in a preferred medium, it helps to understand how to manipulate as many different mediums as available. With books and the internet, an artist can get all kinds of instructions, information, and lessons.
You need to be a joiner, enter art contests, and take an active part with art societies and clubs. If there are none available in your community, create them. Find people to associate with that will help and encourage you. This is invaluable for your art career. What if the famous artists Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Georges Braque not had the association with Gertrude Stein and the supportive group that surrounded her? Would the world have discovered them as readily as it did? I think not.
Use the internet. This is the edge we have today to reach a great many people. Take advantage of all it offers. There are galleries and many other sites that an artist can promote their works. Start a web or blog site. Be a promoter.

In conclusion, no matter what stage of life the wannabe artist is in, their future is determined by their talents, their goals, and their motivation. If they have a definite plan, they are more likely to succeed. On the other hand, to do nothing will achieve nothing. If they have their dreams on the back burner of life, it is time to move them to the front. It's time to get started.

Richard Burton comes from a family of artists. His father was an artist. His brother is an artist. He has spent over forty years studying and promoting art. He know feels it is time to give back to the art community. His greatest passion is to see new artist (no matter what age) find a place for their artwork.

Simple Tips in Starting a Track Layout

When trying to figure out how to layout some train tracks, always remember there are things to consider so that the layout will be flawless. To make sure that the tracks work perfectly and that you get what you were envisioning, you should do some things in the proper sequence.

A layout always starts with the first step which is planning. Planning entails you think about what you have and what you do not have. In this step, making a list and reviewing it often helps you to stay on track and find alternatives to your ambitious train track layout.

One special thing to consider during this process is the space considerations. You can't design a track layout that simply won't fit the area you have available. This is a point blank, no brainer point to consider but most people still do forget about the space they have.

Then comes designing the track. In the design phase, a modeler must be able to figure out if the track he plans to build is going to be workable. In this sense, try to make sure the track shape is one that will enable you to let the trains turn around. This is probably the benchmark of workability for model trains.

Also in the designing phase, you will be able to list down what you will and will not use. Which portion of the track goes where and what else to use in case the tracks you do have wont fit the design.

The design phase is very important as it will be the primary phase where you will be able to identify what is it that you need to buy off the shops. Identifying your requirements will make the layout a lot easier to do.

In cases that you have a tight budget for the track layout, make use of what you have. Although the track you may create will not be exactly what you dreamed of but you still may create something great. Just keep using your imagination and creativity and be resourceful. Try to find something that will ultimately give you that satisfaction in the layout you just made.

While in the process of planning and designing, knowing what type of track to use is also a consideration to take note of. Basically, there are two kinds of track, sectional and flextrack. Sectional is the rigid, strong and durable track while flextrack is the reshapeable one. Some railroaders do suggest to use sectional tracks for beginners as they are less-skilled and will probably just end up wasting the track away if they use Flextrack. For those with experience however, a flextrack may be used to help them get what they really want the track to look like.

One good idea though, regardless of being a newbie or skilled hobbyist, try practicing first on some of your friends tracks to make sure you get the feel for both. After which, decide and go buy the track you need.

Generally, the best way to go when designing a train track is to go for simplicity. You may have just portions of complexity but don't overdo it. A track doesn't have to be complex to be great, it just needs to make sense. A simple track design also enables you to actually complete it sooner and then build on it as time goes by.

Model railroads are meant to be an investment so starting small and growing your track is a good decision in any case. Take baby steps and you will get to the design you dream of. Take giant steps and sooner or later, see yourself tumble.

Star Wars Action Figures - Five Reasons Why You Need to Collect Them

I love Star Wars and, if you are reading this article, you do too. But how far does your love for Star Wars go? Ever sense I was five years old, I've been collecting Star Wars action figures. I remember always being on the hunt for the latest action figures, no matter where I went. If you collect from something you love, like Ghostbusters, you'll grow closer to that something. I'm going to discuss five reasons why you should collect Star Wars action figures.

1. Because You Love Star Wars
How is George Lucas going to make more Star Wars movies without your money? I kid, sort of. I've found that when you have something around your living space that reminds you of things that you love, you are a much happier person. Well we've already established that you love Star Wars, so the obvious thing is to make sure that you have it representation in your home some how. But what's it going to be? Movie poster are sweet, but this is an article about action figures, so I'm going to talk about why you need those. Can you pose the characters in the poster any way you want? No. Can you pick up a poster and have epic battle scenes with it? No. You can do a lot more with action figures. Because you love Star Wars, buy the action figures.

2. To Unlock Your Inner Child
Everyone has an inner child. Don't deny it. Every now and then you need to let it run free. If you don't, you'll go crazy with stress and what not. The excitement when you find a new figure at Toys "R" Us or open a figure for the first time will have your inner child squeal with glee. You want that for yourself. If you've already read this far, you know this to be true. Search your feelings. Buy the toys, play with them, and your childhood will live on forever.

3. It's a Relatively Inexpensive Hobby
Each Star Wars action figure runs from seven to ten dollars. That's not too bad. I'm not asking you to go out there and buy every figure you see. Just go out there and get the ones you love. If you love Han Solo, buy the Han Solo one. If you hate Jar Jar Binks, then don't buy the Jar Jar one. It's that easy. If you decide that you are one of those people that have to have them all, then this hobby may not be as budget friendly as I make it out to be. Still you can at least afford the figures you love. Buy the loved figures, unlock the child, and save some money on a hobby.

4. Chicks Dig the Smuggler
Make sure that there is at least one Han Solo and one Lando Calrissian figure in your collection. Chicks dig them... Buy the figures, take the child out of daycare, save your money, and then spend that money on all the women that you'll be getting. I may be going out on a limb on this one.

5. The Force is Real
Oh you didn't know that? Well it is. Star Wars action figures are like midichlorians, the more you have, the stronger the Force is with you. You star to feel when a store has the newest figures you are searching for. Think I'm crazy? Well try it yourself, then we'll see who's crazy. Buy the figures, unleash the inner child, spend less money, spend more on the girls, and use the Force.

And there you have it. Five legit reasons to own Star Wars action figures. For a sixth reason, I invite you to come visit my Epic Star Wars Action Figure web site. If you have read this far, I know you will. Thanks for reading and may the Force be with you.

Judas' Plight

(A Speculation, in Poetic Theological Prose)

Do not look for proofs or conclusions, only a few metaphysical exonerations...!

Judas Iscariot's account, or legend behind the man has been oversimplified in that his act of treason by those who have written his story, have disrupted it to look as if it was sabotage (preordained). Although consensus would prove me more wrong than right, yet I feel he wasn't that cleaver to have outwitted all the apostles, and Jesus Christ himself; consequently, Judas has been given way too much credit for his treachery; oh well, it did occurred, did it not?

A tragedy, this tragedy, one has adapted in history was not accidental, yet mysterious; that is to say, in how it developed. Was Judas not like all men, born of sin, and a trying heart? Yes of course he was. Was Christ's divinity a secret among the few and many, perhaps? What unforgivable sin did Judas do? Are we not led to believe (like sheep to be sheered)the worse of Judas?

He lowered himself into the abyss, the fires of hell-is what has been legend and lore said, with the taking of those corruptible thirty pieces of silver...! Yet I doubt that is the most corruptible part of his sin! (If indeed that was the case, Peter denied Jesus three times; hence, he has saintly company! Moreover, Thomas did the same, by requesting he inspect and touch Jesus' pierced hands.)

There is more to this reprehensible psychological psychodrama than meets the eye: even though some have said, it was in the plan of the Lord, that Judas was his instrument planned long ago!...and as a result, he gave the kiss of damnation to Judas' soul-but for what? Did he not have-as all human beings have-choice or will? In indeed he did. Was this a theological game that the Lord had planted (that humankind has implied he planted, inferred by announcing it was written down in the Book of Days-figuratively speaking, eons ago)-likened to a mustered seed, far-off in ages yet to be-if so, this is miraculous. The reason being, because the grace of God was not with him and he placed indifference upon this man's soul, to hang him for humankind, before birth: and there was no need for God to have done that. Oh but, should we call this the propagated glory of God? If so, would not history have proclaimed Him the Infamous Slayer, not the Saviour (?) In addition, should we not question, "Was this the unpardonable sin" which can only be against the Holy Spirit?

Oh no, I do not think Judas, played this game to be an infamous, renowned legendary hero, not at all, nor would the Trinity allow this abominate crime. If so, Judas must have thought Christ was less than the word itself-then, and again, this could not be, and far from proven?...yet theologians, the world over and centuries on... rebuked him, for his hypocritical, two-faced contradicting crime, sharp-edged heresy... (for it was quite the opposite)likened to Paul, the once quarrelsome, argumentative, slanted pious Jew; in the beginning he was no less a betrayer to the truth of the Messiah, and perhaps God saw this before time, long before Paul's birth...who accepted his calling, when called.

Is there a canon that implies Judas claims Jesus Christ needed to redeem man? To my knowledge there is not. Did he not know Jesus was omnipotent, God incarnate, the son of God? Of course, he did-and he knew much more than that, perhaps more than the other apostles did-in that he believed wholeheartedly in the divinity of Christ and the power he could call upon, and his humanity, that is perhaps where the core of his sin resides.

Perchance what he did not understand, or fully understand was that Jesus did not come to choose between right and wrong or conquer the world like Alexander the Great. Only to announce the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand (which was not foreseeable at that moment; nor physical to Judas' mind);moreover, in so doing curing the ill, the sick to include the leprous. In addition, in the course of his thirty-three years on earth, casting out demons- and that in time, his death and resurrection would invalidate man's sin, through him, that he would bring them back to the grace of God Almighty-and that that Heavenly Kingdom would be waiting for those who chose it! -that he was the bridge to cross over from blasphemy, and tyranny, and rebellion-He knew although, fully knew-I do believe, Jesus was the one the Baptist called the Messiah, the Christ, and the Lamb.

Perhaps, just perchance, Judas was mad in that his King of Kings would not take command by moving the forces of the world, with the wave of his finger, as He did with the Red Sea for Moses; conceivably, it had to do with extravagance. Therefore, his heart, or perhaps his mind or spirit within him (maybe all those I've just mentioned),at that time, that moment, was not for the greater glory of God and that in itself, meant boldly if not traditionally, he was not invested in Jesus' heavenly kingdom to be for mankind? However, he was investing in the kingdom on earth that was now in place. One might even say, it was a dilemma for him, if indeed he was conscious of both roads, both kingdoms that is, and surely he was aware somewhat if not devouringly so.

Oh yes, he tried to glorify himself-no doubt, and accordingly, as theologians have indicated or inferred, destroyed himself in the process-no doubt again, indisputable. In addition, as they have implied, cast into the eternal fires of Hell, which is questionable, at best. Nevertheless, his actions were not done by intent nor was it his aim, rather his burden, obsession.

The words that keep coming to my mind for Judas, are: predestined and the unpardonable sin; the theologians seem to make them into a package deal; one for all and all for one: meaning, one cannot be without to the other, like two peas in a pod. Christ said, "It would have been better had you not been born." (This was a figure of speech for the most part. For is it not true, all persons in hell would have been better off had they not been born; on the other hand, if Judas made it to paradise, or even heaven, the shame he would carry with him, eternal shame, would this not also bear the truth of: "You would have been better off had you not been born.")

In any case, there was no curse that God had cast down like lightening upon this man-; however, he knew the love Judas once had for him (perhaps still had in a mad way),and Jesus knew the psychological mind of man. Had he not loved Jesus, he would not have hung himself, nor thrown the thirty pieces of sliver into the gutter. The sin comes into play when Christ confronted Judas, and Judas did not change his formal (or should we called it his: prescribed or strict)reasoning, way of thinking, his attitude, remaining as he wished, as it had been for a long while.

Was it planned by Satan to move Judas-everywhichway, with his poisonous tongue, with a whisper in his ear? Like Satan tried with Christ. Should we give Satan the pleasure in promoting him to an influential figure in Judas' rise and demise, in this ultimate plan of God's, this somewhat 9/11? In a way we could infer, -like unto like-Judas was not unlike Satan, by wanting the glory no man nor angelic being could ever have; likened to sitting at the right hand of God Almighty...Himself (or thinking a grasshopper, could rule by the side of the Emperor of the Universe)!

Judas knew, Jesus could if he wanted to, change things with a gesture of his finger, in addition, this was his plan-now his new plan, I doubt it was always his diagram, only when he knew Christ was not going to use his power for earthly gains. Perchance, he felt Jesus would not read his mind, like so many of us think as we sin from day to day, sin right in front of him thinking he's blind to our shenanigans. Sinning and wearing his cross, and sinning again (consequently the cross being no more than a trinket to the wearer)sinning as if we have a licence to do so because we can go to church and ask the Priest for absolution and all is forgiven with the wave of a finger, or sliding our fingers down the rosary. We forget, God reads the heart as well as the mind. He is not blind and lost; even with a horde of Christian Churches surrounding us, we think no more of his spoken word in that church than a person reading the daily newspaper sitting on a park bench, at times.

Another thing Judas did not fully understand was similar to John's mother's way of thinking: that John could one day sit at the right hand of God Almighty, like Jesus Christ-so you see, Judas is not alone in this obsession for power, in that, having a son next to such power could be quite valuable in the long run. Christ told her, "You don't understand what you're asking!" The deed or sin may be of ignorance, but nonetheless, behind all of it was greed for power.

What is actually taking place here? Christ could not offend the Trinity, he was (is) part of it. In addition, the unpardonable sin is it not, blasphemy, or irreverence, against the Holy Spirit? Thus, if Judas knew what he was saying and doing, he had thus committed the Unpardonable sin-I would think, perhaps conclude. John's mother, on the other hand, did not, for Christ said, "You do not know what you are asking!" Let us take this a little further. To become equal to Christ was to denounce the Holy Spirit, to take his place. Christ could not cleanse that sin. However, was Judas asking to sit at the right hand of God, or the left hand? If not, then his sin is pardonable. Therefore, he commits suicide out of depression; this again, is pardonable-if approached right. However, Judas did not care about the sins of man, but the Glory of Jesus (God in human form),and his position with Jesus, and he knew at the wave of a finger, Jesus could switch his quandary, this dilemma, this fix he found himself in: wanting to rule the world alongside of Jesus. This was his plight.

Judas, stretching his arms to the heavens, with half-opened eyes-saw the labyrinth he was lost in; an unending, unwinding entanglement. Thus, at his ends wit, he committed suicide, more sorrowful-I believe-than any man alive had ever been.
