Amateur Photographers Can Make Money Too

You might notice an absence of lots of flashy pictures all over my page, but what I want you to imagine now is what You like to photograph.

Do you like to take pictures? Do you have your own digital camera?

Would you like learn how to use your own pictures to earn some extra money?

Recently I obtained a copy of an e-book (a digital document) entitled Photo Wealth System which gives an excellent guide to photographing and then selling digital pictures. I will briefly tell you what this contains and why you should read it.

You probably carry a digital camera around, maybe even a built-in one in a cell phone, and take pictures all the time, (mainly of your friends and family, places you visit and interesting scenery), and probably have a collection uploaded onto a computer or saved on disk or CD.

The book is not a photography lesson book, but rather a book which guides you as to what to photograph, and how and where to try to sell your digital pictures to those who might be interested in purchasing them. A large portion of the book is a directory of companies which deal with freelance photographers. It also guides you through the process of copyrighting your pictures. This is valuable information for anyone who wants to turn a picture-taking hobby into a way to earn some extra money.

The book does contain some photography tips such as camera types and settings, lighting, framing, editing, and printing, which is adequate for beginners, although obtaining a book on photography itself would be my recommendation for anyone wishing to make their photos look professional and hence more valuable.

I myself will retire soon, so I am looking at this as something to do with my time to supplement my S.S. income, perhaps it might suit you in this manner too. Or perhaps if you are working your way through college, and have free time in the summer, you could earn some money to help pay your tuition. Regardless of your age or situation, you have a the capability to do something with your camera if you have the information.

So if you are interested in learning more, take a look at the related web page, and if you know someone else who might be interested, please let them know about it.

PS: A tip from me: Always load your pictures to your computer and/or another picture card as soon as possible to have backup copies. Cameras can be lost and picture cards can be damaged easily, with hundreds of your pictures gone, when it is so quick and easy to make backup copies, so this is a good habit of any photographer, professional or amateur.
